Digital Marketing in Bristol

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last few years it’s hard to miss all the plaudits and accolades being heaped on Bristol.

Bristol stacks up pretty well against other UK cities and running or starting a new business is no exception. Bristol has the 4th highest number of new startups per working population (93.7 per 10,000 to be exact).

And with two good universities (Bristol Uni & UWE) producing plenty of fresh talent with new and innovative ideas there’s a ready made workforce to tap into.

Being the 10th largest city in the UK, Bristol, with a population close to 500,000 is a thriving hub with great business variety whether that’s tech, food or finance to name but a few.

So with not only a great indigenous population there’s also the visitors to think about. Figures show that 13.6m day visitors came to Bristol in 2018, along with 21.m domestic staying trips and over 570,000 international staying trips (thanks smallbusiness.co.uk). The visitor economy in Bristol and South Gloucester is valued at £1.3bn.

With all of this potential it’s extremely important to to make your business stand out from the crowd, demonstrating a passion for what you do, a deep understanding of your customers needs, great branding, an intuitive website and of course visibility where your customers look for services whether that’s a search engine, social media platform or the local farmers market.
